{Evelyn}

Just prepare yourself for some serious cuteness. This is Evelyn. Her mom, Alisha was another one of the winners from my contest. Alisha is also a photographer. She is a large format film photographer who specializes in women's issues and heirloom portraits and has a BFA in photography. WOW! I felt honored that she would enter my little contest. If you get a chance, check her stuff out here. It was so fun to get to know her, talk a little photography and take photos of her sweet little babe. Evelyn was a little sleep fighter, but once she was out she let me move her and pose her. I have to admit it made me a little baby hungry.

So I wish I had a close up of this blanket we used for a background. Alisha hand made it. No sewing machine. Each little circle is gathered and then sewn. They are called yo yo's. One day, I may have to have her teach me, one day.

{Wes + Kortni}

This is my step brother Wes and his cute fiance, Kortni. When I started this journey into photography, I never intended to get into weddings. This is officially my first engagement session. I have to admit it was a fun change of pace.

{Alex}

Oh I am so sad. My baby is going to be two this week. Where does time go. He is such a happy little soul and is an important part of our family. He brings such a wonderful spirit and energy into our home.

Here are few tidbits of info about Alex:

He is happy almost all the time.

He is carefree and easy going.

He idolizes his brother.

He thinks he is five years old.

He is animated and makes several funny faces.

He is a total comedian and keeps us laughing all the time.

When he runs, he leads with his belly and focuses on the ground.

He loves Diego and Dora.

He loves to make animal noises.

He looks just like his Daddy at this age.

He has a strange aversion to chicken, but will eat chicken nuggets.

Would eat his body weight in blueberries.

His favorite person is Mimaw(even though he calls her House).

He is exploding with new words everyday.

He refuses to sit in a high chair.

Loves other kids.

We love you little monkey!

{Haylee}

This is Haylee. Her Mom was one of the winners of my contest back in February. She is so darling. She did everything I told her. She is so literal, that when I told her not smile(to get one) she was very obedient and didn't smile. She is expecting a new sibling in a few months, so her Mom wanted to get some pictures taken before then.

How cute are these kiddos? Don't they have fabulous eyes? Originally I was just going to photograph the kids and at the last minute we decided to do a family shot. We squished everyone in my small studio to take it. Each of these kids have such cute personalities, it was so fun getting to know Gavin, Chloe and little Sawyer.
